This was certainly a once in a lifetime opportunity. There is a skydiving club in UCC and I was lucky enough to go on a trip with them to the Irish Parachute Club in Clonbullogue, Offaly to try my hand at skydiving. There is a series of training you go through during the weekend just to make sure that you know what you are doing when you actually get into the plane but in my opinion it was completely worth it.

I decided to get a few photos taken of my jump, just as a keepsake. Luckily I jumped on a beautiful clear day so the view on the way down was spectacular. The scariest part was actually the split-second before you jump out of the plane when you are suddenly looking down 10,000 ft. I would be lying if I said I did not have a moment of doubt at that point. However, seconds later I was falling faster than I could imagine and, for lack of better words, screaming my head off.

To all those adrenaline junkies out there or for anyone who loves a bit of a thrill I cannot recommend it enough. Take a look in my gallery for more pictures.
